Bruce M. Miller age 79 of Horton, formerly of Burr Oak and Sturgis, passed away at his home on Sunday, March 5, 2023.

Bruce was born on July 30, 1943, in Kalamazoo, Michigan, a son to the late Clarence K. and Mary C. (Stevens) Miller.

Bruce graduated from Kalamazoo Centre High School. Following graduation, he moved to the Burr Oak and Sturgis areas and lived there for most of his life. 2 years ago, Bruce moved to Horton and lived there until his passing.

On July 31, 1981, Bruce married his wife of 41 years Susan Hosted. They were married at their home in Burr Oak.

Bruce worked as a salesman for Senco Pneumatic Tools for 20 years. He also sold pet supplies for 8 years.

Surviving Bruce today is his wife Susan Miller of Horton, 4 children: Steve (Melissa) Miller of Burr Oak, Christy (Kith Rocho) Miller of Sturgis, Troy (Connie Ledyare) Miller of Burr Oak, and Paul (Kate) Harmon of Richland, 8 grandchildren: Kole Miller, Vanessa Everitt, David Ringler, Katie Beamish, Madasen Wiseman, Cheyanne Jonas, Luna Harmon, and Skye Harmon, and 4 great grandchildren.

Besides his parents Clarence and Mary Miller, Bruce was preceded in death by his sister, Karen Miller.

The Miller family will receive friends and relatives on Wednesday, March 8th, 2023, from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at the Schipper Funeral Home LTD. in Colon. A funeral service celebrating Bruce’s life will be held on Thursday, March 9th, 2023, at 11:00 AM also at the Schipper Funeral Home with pastor Angela West officiating. A private interment will follow at Mt. Ever Rest Memorial Park in Kalamazoo, MI. In lieu of flowers the family asks memorial donations be made to the Miller Family.
