John Hawthorne

Passed away August 9, 2009, at the age of 65. He was born Novemeber 5, 1943, the son of Mildred and Clarence Hawthorne, in Joliet, IL. John worked in security at West Main Mall and the Upjohn Company, where he later retired. He will be remembered for his smile and ability to draw amusing caricatures. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marlene Hawthorne; and his parents, Mildred and Clarence Hawthorne. He is survived by three children: Jon Hawthorne of Powell, Wyoming; Hayley Hawthorne and Randy Hawthorne, both of Kalamazoo, MI; and one grandson, Nicholas Hawthorne. A Memorial Service will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, August 22, 2009 at the Harper Funeral Home, 521 Douglas Avenue, 342-1000.
