Denice "Denny" Perkins DENNY PERKINS TITUSVILLE Denice "Denny" Perkins, 65, passed away on Thursday, August 14, 2008. Denny worked as a Comptroller and Purchasing Agent for Royal Oak Country Club, Titusville, from 1976 to 1994. She was also an Office Manager for the Brevard County Sheriffs Civil Department from 1991 until her retirement this past March of 2008. Denny was a Charter Member of the American Business Womens Association which started in 1979. She held all offices including President, and was the recipient of Woman of the Year several times. Denny was predeceased by her parents, John and Mabel Goonen. She is survived by her daughters, Kristine Rice and Rebecca Broxton; grandchildren, Kristofer Broxton, Erin Broxton and Olivia Rice; brothers, Dr. John Goonen (Bonnie), David Goonen (Patti), Thomas Goonen (Cathy), Steven Goonen (Mary); sister, Mollie Bethel (Rick). She is also survived by her dear friend, Betty Carpenter. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday August 19, 2008 at North Brevard Funeral Home, Titusville. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at St. Teresa Catholic Church, Titusville, with interment to follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
