Died Wednesday morning, July 16, 2003 in Battle Creek, Michigan. Judy was born October 12, 1943 in Kalamazoo, Michigan a daughter of Leon and Viola (Slate) Crawford. She had been a lifelong Kalamazoo area resident, and was employed with Zabo's Restaurant at General Motors for 25 years. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her son, Chad (Andrea) Crawford of Florida; 3 granddaughters; 5 brothers and sisters, Dale (Claudia) Crawford of Battle Creek, Claudine Shook of Constable, NY, Marilyn Johnson of Portage, Caroline Mattimore of Crown Pointe, IN, and Gene (Gail) Crawford of Arizona; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 o'clock Monday from the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. with the Rev. Richard Liggett officiating. Memorials may be directed to Michigan Diabetes Association
