VANDENBOS, ROGER A.

Roger passed away Wednesday afternoon, March 25, 2015 at Bronson Methodist Hospital. He was born July 8, 1943 in Kalamazoo, the only child of the late Albert and Evelyn (Ver-Meulen) VandenBos. On July 25, 1964, Roger was united in marriage to Carol Utterback. He was a member of Prairie Edge Christian Reformed Church, Portage AM Rotary Club, and Singing Crusaders. Roger was employed as an accountant for The Upjohn Co. until his retirement. Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Carol VandenBos; their two children, Michael VandenBos of Cumming, GA, and Lynne Vanden-Noor of Bali, Indonesia; four grandchildren, Connor, Will and Caroline VandenBos, and Leyna VandenNoor. A memorial service to celebrate Roger’s life will be held at 3:00 PM on Monday, March 30, at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th Street, with Pastor Phil Kok officiating.
