David passed away peacefully with his family at his bedside, in the home he built. David was born July 9, 1943, in Kalamazoo, the son of John and Mary (Keesler) Morsman. A veteran, David proudly served his country in the United States Army. A 1961 graduate of Loy Norrix High School, David was a loyal employee of General Motors where he was a welder, retiring with thirty nine years of service. A handy man with many friends, David enjoyed fishing, playing pool, and auto racing. David loved working on cars and being in his barn, and most of all he loved being with his grandchildren. On January 20, 1968, David married the love of his life; the former Nancy Sinclair, who survives. David is also survived by his children: John (Chris Tokarski) Morsman, Marcy (Paul) Leversee, and Tom (Jennifer) Morsman, grandchildren: Micayla, Katie, Mason, Emma, Jake, Jamie, Abrielle, and Daniel. David was preceded in death by his parents. David's family will receive friends Friday, 6:00 - 8:00 PM at the Williams-Gores Funeral Home, Delton. David's funeral service will be conducted Saturday, July 23, 2016, 11:00 AM at Faith United Methodist Church, Delton, Pastor Brian Bunch, officiating. Private interment will take place in Mt.
